Spring Metabolism Reset
6 Week Group Program April 18th-May 23rd 2024
Join Angela Coursey, Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach of Flora Nutrition, LLC for a 6 week program to rest your metabolism and get ready for the summer! The 4-week eating plan designed by Dr. Alan Christianson is meant to cleanse your liver of any stagnant triglycerides which "clog" the liver and slow down the metabolism that have led to weight gain over the years, and the helpless feeling of doing all the 'right' things and still not seeing results. Following this protocol has been clinically proven to jump start your metabolism for weight loss, energy and overall health of hormones, blood sugar regulation, fat loss, digestion, and toxin release. The Plan:

THE LIVER REPAIR DIET: High Conjugation and Low Fuel

a high protein shake for breakfast
-
a high protein shake for lunch
-
a balanced dinner
-
unlimited veggie forward snacks if needed

a detoxifying herbal tea
-
adequate water intake
-
removal of caffeine and alcohol from the diet

BODY REST: Adequate sleep and Micro workouts
-
Paying off your sleep debt to allow your liver to heal.

Doing micro workouts (around 5 minutes) daily and walking between 5-10,000 steps.

This Virtual Event Will Consist of:

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What if I cannot make the live group recordings?
A: Sessions are recorded if you cannot make the live. You will have the opportunity to ask questions beforehand and get answers during the call, even if you are unable to attend and playback at your convenience.

Q: Why do I have to cut out caffeine? I can't get through the day without coffee or green tea?
A: Caffeine forces the liver to empty its glycogen stores, which will alter your results during the program. This keeps the liver from reaching maximum waste and toxin release. The same applies to alcohol and environmental chemicals. We will work together to wean you off caffeine slowly and with the increase in energy you will gain, you might not ever need that cup of coffee again. Yes, Seriously!

Q: Why 2 shakes a day? Won't I get bored?
A: You won't get bored, as Dr. Christianson has 28 days of different shake recipes in the recommended book for purchase. This keeps things fresh and easy and the shake recipes are absolutely delicious! Shakes allow your liver time to heal as they are easy to break down and absorb into the body. These shakes also allow for faster initial weight loss, greater success, reduced fatty liver, reduced inflammation, reduced waist circumference and lowered body fat. They are also easy to take on the go, when you travel and take the thinking out of what should I eat next.

Q: Do I have to purchase the required or recommended products? Can I get through this reset on just the group coaching calls?
A: You will absolutely need to purchase plant based protein powder and your desired form of resistant starch. The program does need these 2 items to get your the results you desire. The Book is where you will find all the recipes on the reset. I will be sharing guidelines on how to put together your shakes, meals and snacks, but no formal recipes found in the book, so purchasing the book via Kindle or physical copy is highly recommended. The recipes are absolutely delicious, so don't miss out!

Q: Ok, So I go through through this program and lose weight. How do I then keep it off for the long run?
A: The last week of the program, I will guide you through balancing your plate and how to maintain your progress on a normal eating schedule.

Q: Can I do the reset if I am a vegetarian or vegan?
A: Yes, as 2/3 meals of the day are plant based, you will only have to switch up the dinners. Each recipe in the book gives vegetarian or vegan substitutions. In order to hit the protein goals necessary for optimal results, you may have to order extra protein powder of your choice.
